Zavion A. McNair was born or loaned to Montsho McNair on August 3, 2004 in East Point, Georgia. Ten months after Zavion was born, he traveled to Centreville, Illinois where it became his home.

Zavion accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at an early age. Zavion went to Lincoln Middle School. He transferred to Wyvetter Younge where he got connected to Mr. Edward Officer, Lena Dye, Ann Rogers and Gerldine Scott who put him back on his spiritual path in 2018. Zavion loved Macedonia Baptist Church.

Zavion joined Increase the Peace Youth Camp in July of 2019 under the leadership of his Godbrother, E'Mond Shepherd. Zavion loved making money. He didn't mind working. He was the one you could always call on.

Zavion had a way of making a sad situation into a happy situation. "Nunu" was a name everyone called him, he acted like that was his real name.

On Saturday, August 19, 2023, Zavion "Nunu" McNair graduated to his heavenly home to join hands with his nephew, Zavion Burch, his uncle, Tamario McNair, and other relatives and friends he lost along the way.

Zavion leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Montsho McNair and Terrell Burch of Centreville, IL; two daughters, Z'Naira McNair and Zariah McNair of Venice, IL; one son, Zakhyre McNair of East St. Louis, IL; grandmother, Lavonda (Hap) Arnold of Centreville, IL; nine siblings, Titrell Burch, Dimeshia (Nick), Ebony Smith, Dileshia Burch, Montrell (Reesie), Devin Burch, Nautica (Marco), Dineshia Burch, and Tamadj Burch; godbrother, E'Mond Shepherd of Venice, IL; special friend, Zakiya of Venice, IL; special cousins, T.J.
