Yvette Dixon was born on September 1, 1966 in St Louis, MO. to the union of Hebert W.B. Dixon and Sheila Dixon. Her father, Hebert Dixon and her two brothers, Michael "Mikey" Wardell and Dante "Red" Dixon preceded her in death. Yvette confessed a hope in Christ and joined Joshua House Church in Jefferson City, MO. Yvette was of young age when her family moved to East St Louis, IL.
Yvette attended schools in East St. Louis School District #189, including East St. Louis Senior High School. She was employed with various businesses in the housekeeping department in St. Louis as well as in the Metro East Area.
Yvette departed thislife on June 15, 2020 in St. Louis, MO. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother Sheila Dixon; two daughters, Natasha Johnson and Georgeena Wicker; four sons, Augustus Armstead, Major Armstead, Miles Minor and Eric Ferrell; 13 grandchildren, De'Ara Lawson, Ayden Johnson, Mi'lah Dale, Samuel Dale, Zi Weed, Cash Armstead Jr, Emp Armstead, Askari Armstead, Annastasia, Mikiya, Miles Jr, Milom, and Zyon Ferrell; five siblings, Herb Dixon, Lavita Bates, Keith Dixon, Antoine Dixon, and Derrick Dixon, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
