William Leon "Teddybear" Smith was born June 22, 1976 in East St. Louis, Illinois to William Leon Miller and Rhonda Smith.

William attended school in District 189 and got his GED. William completed his education and received an Associates Degree.   At an early age William confessed a hope in Christ.  Later in life he united in holy matrimony to Angela Hurley.  In July 2015, William moved to Irving, Texas and worked at DFW Airport.

William was preceded in death by his brothers, Kennedy Miller and Edward Smith; grandmothers, Kay Smith and Cecilia Miller.

William departed this life on December 7, 2019.

Surviving to cherish William's memory are his children, Erykah Harris, Edward Smith, Victor Smith and Heavenly Smith; mother, Rhonda Smith; father, William (Sherry) Miller; sisters, Victoria Smith, Veronica Smith, Teandrea Smith; brothers, Danielle Smith, Napoleon Edwards, William Leon Miller Jr., Cody Miller, Cedric Miller and Yauncey Burrell; aunts, Romona Sykes, Olivia Herndon and Easter Miller; uncle, Kennedy Miller; girlfriend, Victoria

Stidimire; great aunt, Shirley Lucky and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
