Obituary

Wilbert Moore Jr. aka "Bull" was born on November 2, 1949 to Wilbert and Willie Mae Moore. He was the third of thirteen children born to this union.

Wilbert "Bull" received his formal education in E. St. Louis School District 189 and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1969 and soon after joined the United States Army. While in the army he mastered his culinary skills and often boasted about his cooking. After completing his tour of duty, he returned home and was joined in Holy Matrimony to his high school sweetheart Irma Jean Bufford and from this union five children were born.

Wilbert "Bull" was employed at Sealtest Dairy, but later attended BAC where he received his certification as a veterinary technician. He also received certifications from State Community College in Small Engine Repair as well as Auto Body Repair.

Wilbert "Bull" had many hobbies but his favorites were hunting and fishing. He loved his animals. Whether rain or shine he enjoyed running his dogs. He loved to be out in his garden growing a variety of fruits and vegetables that he often gave away. Bull was known for his generous and compassionate nature.

Wilbert "Bull" was baptized in Jesus name at St. Phillips Church of God. Bull was a man of few words and had an innocent smile which could light up anyone's mood. Bull loved his family. He was a proud father and loved introducing his children to others.

Wilbert "Bull" Moore departed this life on Monday, September 2, 2019 at the age of 69. He was preceded in death by his parents Wilbert Moore Sr. and Willie Mae (Dudley) Moore, sisters Ethel Ayers, Carolyn Bohannon, Lela Tracey Moore, Doris Patterson and Ida Wilkins, Brothers Tony Moore, Reginald "Reggie" Moore and beloved grandson Ryan Moore Connors and his best friend Larry Slaughter.

Wilbert Moore leaves to cherish his memory two sons Wilbert Artez (Remy) Moore, Jerome (Candace) Moore and four daughters Sonia (Fred) Wilkins, SharLita "Sweets" Moore, Linesta Trinette Moore, Fabrienne (Kenneth) Harper, eight brothers Willie A."Reco"(Auntreanita), Derrick, Gregory, Reginald "Rep", Elijah, Lazeal (Joyce), Ricky, Luther Ray(Tamara) Moore and  seven sisters Vernita (Robert) Reid, Shirley (Jimmy) Silas, Gloria Gilmore, Marilyn (Lonnie) Youngbear, Lessie Teresa (Benjamin) Coleman, Wanda ( Luscious) Cole, Diane (Michael) Wilson, sixteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends.
