Walter Vernon Reese was born on July 20, 1950 in St. Louis, MO to the union of Walter Reese and Mercedes Reese.

Walter united with Apostolic Pentecostal Way in St. Louis under the leadership of Bishop P.L. Scott. Walter attended McKinley High School.

Walter departed this life on January 21, 2022. He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings Reginald Vale Reese (Shirley) and Lanette S. Reese; first cousins Bishop Ilona Dickson and 1st Lady Madlyn King, and a host of nephews, one niece, great nephews, great nieces, and friends.
