Tyrone C. Mayhorn Sr. was born on December 16, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Walter Mayhorn and Vera Miller and bonus father, Apostle Levi R. King. He confessed a hope in Christ at a young age uniting with Gateway Area Bible Fellowship Apostolic Church.

Tyrone attended public schools in District #189. He was united in wedlock to Mary Ann Hunter for 47 years.

Tyrone enjoyed working side jobs whether it was building, replacing and or repairing. He later found his niche in funeral service. His attendance and care for families, was remarkable.

Tyrone departed this earthly life on November 30, 2024. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, son, Tyrone Mayhorn Jr.; daughter, Nekisha Hunter; sisters, Loletha Smith and Dolphine Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Lamarcus T. Mayhorn (Lydia) and Anthony Hunter; sisters, Vonzetta Dickerson, Madgeline Brewer, Tamika (Roy) King-Payne, Natasha King, Bree Long, Crystal Ramson (Charles), Melissa Walters, Terra Jenkins "T-Baby", Joy King; brothers, Tremaine Brown, Richard Miller, Wallace Miller, Mark Benjamin, Ryan Branson, Carlos Henderson (Stephanie), Rodney Gordon (Jessica), Dameon Christian, Pastor Levi "Too" (DJuana) King; grandchildren, Julien Williams, Lamarcus Mayhorn, Jr., Liam Mayhorn, Lela Mayhorn, Indiyah Hunter, Asia Hunter; bonus mom, Madlyn King "Momma TT", and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
