Thurman Whiteside, Jr. was born on April 1, 1948 in Tupelo, Mississippi to the parents Thurman Whiteside, Sr. and Willielean Hodges.
He was raised and attended school in Mississippi. During his adult life, Thurman worked in various factories in Chicago, Illinois.
He was united in wedlock to Carol Casterman and then remarried to Erma Whiteside. He moved to East St. Louis, Illinois in 2014. He was preceded in death by Antoin Whiteside and Keisha Stuart.
Thurman departed this life on December 4, 2016. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Mark Casterman, Gwen Casterman, Tyrone Hatchett, Rosie Guster, Thurman Whiteside, Jr., Thaddeus Brewer, Tifani Whiteside-Gray, Denise Stuart and Kimberly Wilson; numerous other family and friends.
