Thelma Florence Adams was born Florence Thelma Wallace in Alorton Illinois on Feb 18 1933 to the union of Eugene and Rosie Wallace. She is the second child of 4. Her sister Jean Earl (deceased and so is her husband David) brother Elitor Wallace (Angela) and sister Carol.

She is the product of district 189 having graduated from Lincoln Senior High School.

Thelma Florence Wallace and Leeman Alden Adams was married on August 27 1955 in Woodriver Illinois. Seven children were born from that union. Leeman Jr aka Dino( Karen), Sharon, Valerie, Joyce(Tony), Lisa(John),David (Anneshia) and Walter aka Sandy (Kay)

Thelma worked many years as an office manager for Dr. Rene St Leger. She retired in 1996 from Harwthorne elementary school.

Her loving husband preceded her in death They were married almost nineteen years.

Thelma departed this life on December 19 2020 from COVID-19. She leaves to cherish her memory's her brother Elitor,sister Carol her seven children her sister-in-laws Lee Annie Bonner, Bestine Tourijigian Estine Adams-Weston, Dr. Lillian Parks, good friends Barbara Story, Volleter Lewis, Margie Parks, 15 grandchildren Alex, Jason, Rachael, Jessica, Leslie( Stephenson), John Jr. (Mary) Jennifer, David Jr., Donavon Dashchel, Taylor, Ashlynn, Krista, Kayla, 5 great children and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
