Obituary

Ms. Tannie Morris (nee Thomas), was born the only child on November 11, 1941 to Roni and Eugene Thomas in Cleveland, Mississippi.

Ms. Morris accepted Christ at the age of five years old, she attended several churches before making St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church her home. While attending St. Mark, she worked in various ministries alongside the pastors.

Ms. Morris united in holy wedlock to Mr. Bobby Morris Sr., and to this union five children were born, one who preceded her in death, LaMonte Morris Sr.

Ms. Morris loved and lived life. She loved driving around in her Cadillac cars and styling her diamond rings. To her family her life exemplified her lifestyle.

On August 16, 2026, Mrs. Morris's journey on earth ended. For the scripture says, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day -- and not only to me, but also to al who have longed for his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7-8

Ms. Morris leaves to cherish her precious memories her children, Freda (Timothy) Davis, Cheryl Morris, Bobby Jr. (Tammie), and Anita Goodwin, she also leaves eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
