Obituary

Tammi Tymya Terrell was beautifully and wonderfully created by God. She entered into this world on the 25th of September 1968 . her parents Leslie L. Terrell III and Eva Faulkner Terrell were so excited to welcome their precious bundle of joy. She was the most prettiest little girl you could ever lay eyes on. She was a living doll.

As a child, her foundation in Christ was established at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in East St. Louis, Illinois where her family was deeply rooted. It was there that she accepted Christ as her personal Savior under the leadership of Rev. John H. Rouse. She continued her faith under the leader ship of the current pastor Rev. Dr. Curtis Levingston.

Tammi began her formal education in East St. Louis District #189. She attended Washington Elementary, Landsdowne Jr. High, and graduated from East St. Louis Senior High School in 1987. While in high school, she began working and continued employment throughout most of her adult years.

In her spare time, Tammi liked to have fun. Some of her favorite things to do included skating, listening to music, and sporting in her black droptop Corvette. In addition, she loved the company of family and friends, social gatherings, outdoor barbecues, parties, and watching TV while sipping her favorite cold beverage. She loved Junk food: pickles, candy, popcorn, chips, and an ice cold Pepsi.

Before her health began to fail, Tammi was full of life and enjoyed all life had to offer. She will always be remembered as a loving, kind-hearted soul always willing to help others. She loved her family and her family loved her.

Tammi departed this life here on earth on October 9, 2022 to meet her Lord and Savior. She leaves to cherish her memory her two sons, Braxton Latrell Hogan and Brock Terrell Hogan; four brothers, Leslie L. Terrell IV (Franchelle), and Douglas O. Terrell (Kimbella), Donye T. Terrell (Marzena); and one sister, Carmen Sparrow; father Leslie L. Terrell III (Artis), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who all loved her.

Tammi Tymya Terrell will forever be greatly missed.
