Obituary

Tamika Nakia Jackson-Hogan was born on September 24, 1974 to the union of Machele (Mike) Ledon Jackson and Flora Jean Jackson in Mount Bayou, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her father, Machele Jackson and brother, Aubreyan Jackson.

Tamika had also lived in California, before the family finally moved and settled in the metro-east area. She desired one day to become one of Jehovah's Witnesses. She worked at Lodgemakers Boys Home as an Instructor in California. Also as a caregiver after moving to the metro-east area.

She departed this life on February 25, 2017 in Belleville, Illinois. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Flora J. Jackson; one sister, Nahtalia Jackson (Terrance) Smith; her sons, Kevion Hogan, Jr., Keaiana Hogan, Kemiah Hogan, Dorion Hogan and Aubreyan Hogan; grandmother, Eleanor Jackson of Victorville, CA; aunts, Katherine Patton of Indianola, MS, Berneda (Willie) Brothers of New York, NY, Jenelle Spalding of Apple Valley, CA, Sandra (Hewitt) Spencer of Indianola, MS, Alma Smith of Greenville, MS, Sharon Smith of Indianola, MS and Rosalind (David) Brown of Connecticut; uncles, Ricky Smith and Tony Smith of Indianola, MS, Mario (Juanita) Smith of Peoria, IL and Neil Williams of Oregon; a host of other cousins, in-laws, and friends; two dear friends, Annette and Keisha. Kee-Kee was loved and will be truly missed by many.
