Stephanie Lou Roberts was born on January 11, 1962 to Dorothy Marie Patrick and Henri Walker at Homer G. Phillips Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Stephanie was the second oldest of six children. Stephanie's mother, Dorothy Marie Keely; her stepfather, William "Dock" Toler; three brothers, Stacy Dion Patrick, Shae Jerry Patrick, and Seth Rodney Patrick, all preceded her in death.

Stephanie confessed a hope in Christ at an early age when her family resided in Elkhart, Indiana. Stephanie had a smile that would light up the room. She had an eye for fashion, an avid shopper, and loved cooking. Her greatest passion resonated with family and interior decorating. Stephanie loved to entertain and often invited family and friends over for meals, laughter, music, dancing, card games, and numerous stories.

Stephanie received her High school diploma in 1980. Upon completion of High school, she enrolled in Bryan Institute of Health Careers, where she obtained an Associate's degree in dental hygiene. Stephanie embarked on her career in the Dental Industry and was employed by Cigna Healthcare in St. Louis, Missouri from 1995 until the day she transitioned.

Stephanie was a loving mother, caring sister, admired grandmother, nurturing great grandmother, cherished aunt, cousin and friend. After Stephanie's courageous battle with cancer, she made a peaceful transition on April 17, 2025 at Christian Northeast Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Stephanie will be loved and truly missed by all who knew her!

Stephanie leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Shalmario Patrick Sr. (LaTanya); two daughters, Shannon Joyner (Philip) and Shabria Roberts (Arteria) all of St. Louis, Missouri; two sisters, Sharon McKnight (Windsor Jr.) of Belleville, Illinois and Simone Patrick of St. Louis; one aunt, Mary Gathings of St. Louis, Missouri; ten granddaughters, Destinee, Sharbrielle, Sanaa, Sa'Dora, Shardae, Shelby, Cherlier (Devin), Brea, Jiara, and Neria; six grandsons, Shalmario Jr, Sy'ere, Kaelon, Davon, Markeeths, and Ernest III all of St. Louis, Missouri; as well as eight great-grandsons, six great-granddaughters, a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews, cousins, one god daughter, Misha McKnight, three god grandchildren, Tamarion, TyJai, and True, two best friends, Patricia Johnson and Franchescha Streater, other relatives and friends.
