To A Loving Son in Heaven, Stefan Christopher Chism Dunn, Born May 13, 2005, at just age 19-year-old departed from this life on June 14, 2024, breaking the hearts of many. Stefan is survived by his father, Lagrant Dunn, mother, Ashley Chism of Cahokia, Illinois and eight brothers, Lagrant Dunn Jr. (Lisa Dunn), Pierre Dunn, Cory Dunn (Christina Dunn), Darius Dunn, Deangelo Dickerson, Devontay Chism, Markari Henderson, and five sisters, Zondra Dunn, Ashanti Chism, Aaliyah Chism, Linda Thomas, Kristen Thomas, a special cousin, Sharay Foggy, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.

Preceded him in death is his grandparents, Geraldine Foggy, Ermon Chism, Walter Dunn Sr., one brother, Michael Henderson and one special cousin, DeLawrence Foggy.

Stefan was reared by his parents, with whom he resided. Stefan enjoyed playing basketball and he earned his first gold medal from the Mary E. Brown Center in East St. Louis, Illinois. Stefan was very proud of the fact that he was good at three-point shots. Stefan also enjoyed hanging with his friends and family. He was a caring brother and a beloved son, and he will be greatly missed. His laughter echoed through his family and will forever resonate in their memories.

Stefan attended Helen Davis Early Childhood Program, Lilly Freeman, Dunbar Elementary School, Lincoln Middle School and East St. Louis Sr. High School. Ashley, his mother's fondest memory of her son, Stefan was his ability to charm his way back into her heart when he knew he had done something wrong.

Though Stefan may no longer be with us in the physical sense, the impact he made on our lives will forever remain. May he rest in eternal peace.
