On August 13, 2025, surrounded by family, Stacy Yvette Kirkland-Morris passed peacefully in Indianapolis, Indiana. Stacy's greatest accomplishments are her sons, Brandon and Myles.

Born on August 24, 1966, in St. Louis, Missouri, Stacy was a radiant spirit from the start. At Lincoln High School she shined as a cheerleader, band member, and "IT GIRL." She later attended Arkansas State University, building a career as a Realtor and Insurance Agent, but her true gift was caring for others.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henryetta McNutt and Freddie Kirkland; her stepfather, King McNutt Sr.; and her grandparents on both sides.

Stacy leaves to cherish her memory her beloved sons Brandon and Myles; her bonus son, Terrence; her siblings, Lamond, Kimberley, Fredericka, and Kelly (Martin Sally), and King (Netra), along with a host of nieces and nephews. She is also remembered with love by her uncle David Kirkland; her aunts, Elaine, Belinda, Diana, and Beverly; her best friend, Nicole Hughes-Moore, who never forgot her.

Stacy will be remembered for her laughter, kindness, and unwavering devotion to family. Though her time with us feels far too short, her legacy of love and joy will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
