Shantia Little was born on March 14, 1979 in East St. Louis, Illinois to the union of Ben Jones and Cynthia Little.

Shantia attended Dunbar and Rock Jr. High School. Shantia moved to Minnesota in 2010 for a better lifestyle. She later had her first born Mershad. She worked as hard as she could to provide and never gave up. Her favorite word was "so."

Shantia loved football. Her favorite team was the Kansas City Chiefs.

Shantia was a loving and devoted sister, daughter, cousin, friends, niece, and grandmother.

Shantia departed this life on March 18, 2023 . She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Janeshia Chandler, Mershad Lamont Anthony, and Allisha Anthony; grandchildren, Neymar Alexander Halton, MiAngel Kay Anthony, Mershawn Anthony, and Mershad Anthony Jr.; godmother, Nanett Hickman sister, Katrina Little and Rosetta Little; aunts, Sarah Hammond, Minnie Little, and Joyce Little; uncle Daryl Little, and a host of other relatives and friends.
