Obituary

It is with heavy hearts and profound love that we announce the passing of Roxie Ann Jamison, who departed this world on May 24, 2026, at the age of 61, after a courageous battle with health complications. Roxie was a beacon of strength and compassion, whose life was a testament to unwavering dedication and love for her family and community.

Born on February 8, 1965, Roxie was the cherished daughter of Pearl Jamison. Her early years were filled with the laughter and camaraderie of a bustling household, shared with her siblings Ricky, Renee, and Ramona Jr., all of whom predeceased her and are now reunited in eternal peace. Her siblings Sally, Lisa, Sammy, and Rosland will truly miss her and all the joy she brought to their lives. Roxie's life was marked by her commitment to serving others, a quality she exemplified throughout her career.

She proudly served the community of St. Louis, MO, through her work at the post office, where her friendly demeanor and dedication to service left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Later, she extended her nurturing spirit to the local daycare centers, where she cared for countless children, nurturing them with kindness and patience, leaving an indelible mark on their lives.

Family was the cornerstone of Roxie's life. She was a proud and loving mother to her four children: Corrine, Raymond, Kathlyn, and Douglas. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support were the foundations upon which her family was built. She taught us how to love and fight for that love. As a grandmother to twelve grandchildren (Hailey, Alyssa, Caitlynn, Zoey, Arriona, Stephani, Aiden, Keith, Kandace, Karissa, Yahre, Raymond Jr.) and a great grandmother to two great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. Roxie's legacy of love, wisdom, and warmth will continue to flourish through the generations.

May Roxie Ann Jamison rest in eternal peace, knowing that her life was a blessing to all who had the privilege of walking alongside her. We love and miss you to the moon and back, Foxy Roxy.
