Rosie Hambright was born on February 3, 1941 in St. Louis, MO to Helen and Nathaniel Edwards. She confessed her life to Christ at an early age. She later moved to East St. Louis, IL in 1972.

She is preceded in death by both parents, two brothers, two sisters, and one son.

Rosie received her formal education at St. Louis Public School. She was a graduate of Haedley Tech. She fell in love and married Willie Hambright.. They had a blended family of 4 daughters and one son.

Rosie was a kind-hearted person. She loved to cook and adored her family more than anything. Rosie truly had a good heart and she will be missed.

Rosie departed this life on January 1, 2022. She leaves to cherish her loving memory two children Shadoka Bonner and Micheal Hambright; two brothers, William Edwards, and Theodore Edwards; thirteen grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
