Roshanda Rodgers, of St. Louis, MO was born on November 15, 1958 to Marion G. Wayne and Walter White in East Saint Louis, IL. She was one of seven children.

Roshanda joined Trinity Full Gospel Church many years ago where she worked in the church's food pantry until her health began to decline. Roshanda bore one child, Shalonda Griffin of whom she loved dearly. She received her GED from Venice Lincoln Technical School in May of 1985 and went on to State Community College. There she worked towards and received her certificate for data entry. Roshanda spent many years working in maintenance and provided cleaning services for people on need. Roshanda loved helping people whether she knew them or not. She was a funny, kind and loving person with a big heart and made an impression wherever she went.

She loved and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed talking on the phone with them regularly. Some of her favorite hobbies consisted of trips to the casino and playing games on her phone. She was a devoted grandmother, great grandmother and a loving aunt to all of her nieces and nephews.

Roshanda was a fighter and survived through many of life's adversities including overcoming her first battle with cancer in the late 90s. Roshanda overcame each hardship maintaining her faith in God until she was called home on January 24, 2023 at the age of 64.

Roshanda is loved and survived by her daughter, Shalonda Griffin, her 3 grandchildren, Shamon Jackson, Sharonda Jackson and Dava Mosley; 5 great grandchildren; her siblings Eric (Karen) Wayne, Tracey Brown, Mark (Annie) Wayne, Terri (Alfred) Wayne-Robinson and Mario Wayne and a host of nieces and nephews.
