Mr. Rontez "Head" DeMario McClure was born on October 26, 1976 in East Saint Louis, Illinois to Henry Brown and Sheryl McClure. His sister (Dorcel Frances Brown) preceded him in death.

A lifelong resident, Head received his education in the East St. Louis District. He confessed his life to Christ as a young child and became reunited in his later years. In 2007, he married Ms. Darcie Duenas and in this union became the baby Da'Ron Mcclure of his eight children.

The first born, the first grandchild, the first to be a father "Head" was truly an outspoken individual; in fact he is the only 8ft man in a 5ft body that we have ever known, but he was genuine if he cared and loved you then you knew it. He had an odd way of showing it but he was loyal, he was a provider, he was the upper part of any body which is to lead this is why we call him HEAD, but more importantly he was a man. In spite of Head's loving demeanor he was also known to spiral out of control and be a bit more than we could sometimes handle.

Head became a father at a young age but even before his first born, you would have sworn he was a father to so many others as he grew up far before the rest of the children in his age group but again you have to remember he was the upper part of any body which means to lead and this is why we call him Head. As long as he was able he may have fussed and made a fit but he has always been there for anyone who have needed him. He was the true patriarch of our family and he will NEVER be forgotten.

"Head" leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother Sheryl Kirby (Tracy Kirby) of East St. Louis and his father Henry Brown (Sharon Brown) of O'fallon, Il; his children Roniesha Larkin-McClure, Rontez McClure Jr. D'Mayza McClure, of Champaign, Il, Nyosha Eisenhut, Romaria McClure, of Rantoul, Il, his ex-wife Janviere Harris and daughters, Ronyae McClure, Regina McClure, of Collinsville, Il; And the baby of his eight, daddy's angels Da'ron McClure, of Saipan. His grandmothers, Katherine Gardner (Willie Gadrner) of East St. Louis, Il. and Geraldine Richardson of Belleville, Il; his siblings. LeSheryl Bell (Vincent Bell), Earl Liggins III, Katherine Liggins, Leon McClure, Shameka Ware (Anthony Ware), Craig Smith (Latoya Smith), Henry Brown Jr., (Brittany Lane-Brown) Tiffany Brown, Cardell McClure (Myiesha McClure), Ray'Mond Gibbs (Tierra Gibbs) Ray'Chelle Gibbs, Larricia Sanders, Marlon Fox,(Suzanne Fox), Earl Liggins II, (Michelle Liggins) and though Head loved and cherished his entire family he leaves behind special loved ones, Kimberly McClure-Sanders, Mary Richardson-Franklin, Cheketa Cain, Jauneryle Brooks, Monj Brooks, Dell Goodwin, Stanley Brown and Jason Bean and a plethora of family and friends who will miss him dearly.
