Rollie M. Allen was born on September 18, 1947 in Money, Mississippi to the union of Leroy Washington Sr. and Willie Mae Washington. The family moved to East St. Louis in 1959.

Rollie received her Associate's degree in applied science. She united in wedlock to Clarence Allen. She is preceded in death by her sister Elizabeth Granger.

Rollie Allen departed this life on July 23, 2020 . She leaves to cherish her loving memory her children Brenda Brown, Leslie Brown, Derek T. Allen, and Keith Allen Sr.; siblings Leroy Washington, and Jessie Hunt; grandchildren Kevin Cannon, Derek T. Allen II, Chandra Carter, Rickyale Pointer, Keith and Kenneth Allen, Paris Garrett, Leroy Allen Sr. Keonne and Leonne Allen, Aliyah Burnett, Ja'Corey Allen, Keivia Allen, Dereka Allen, and 18 grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
