Rodney Hair was given the gift of life on August 3, 1967 to blessed parents James Hair and Lorretta Hair in St. Louis, Missouri.

A Time To Learn

Rodney's formative years of education started with East St. Louis School District #189, namely Wilson Elementary and Landsdowne Junior High School. After graduating Middle school, Rodney proudly attended and graduated from East St. Louis Senior High School.

A Time To Be Reborn

Rodney gave his life to Jesus Christ at an early age.

A Time To Develop

Rodney entered the work force as a transportation worker. Rodney worked for Laidlaw and Touchette Regional Hospital and Transportation at East St. Louis Housing Authority. Rodney was called home on January 31, 2024 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Hair and Lorretta Hair; his brothers, Walter Hair and Maryland Hunter; his sister, Georgia Franklin; his grandparents, William Henry Allen and Winnie Allen. He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings, Odell Hunter and Shirley Hair, both of East St. Louis, IL; aunt, Betty Roosevelt Taylor of Cahokia, IL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, Pastor Prowell, and a special friend, Linda Martin. He will be dearly missed by many.
