Mr. Roderick Leonard Charles Harris was born February 10, 2005 in Belleville, Illinois to Rodriguez Harris and Roxanna Ford. Roderick was educated in the Belleville, Illinois school system.  He graduated from West Jr. High School.

Roderick accepted Jesus Christ as His Lord and Savior and united with Lighthouse of Hope Church in Belleville, Illinois.

Roderick was very good with his hands.  He enjoyed working on computers and anything dealing with technology. Roderick enjoyed singing in the choir, working on the media team and being a part of the scholar bowl while he attended West Jr. High School. Roderick was a blessing to many of us.

Roderick departed this life on Sunday, June 2, 2019 in Belleville, Illinois. Roderick leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Roxanna Ford; father,  Rodriguez Harris; sisters,    Reyona Harris and Latondra Monroe; aunts, Kiesha Ford, Ladell Harris, Tarancee Harris and Verdell Harris; uncles, Richard McCalip Jr. and Shawn Harris; cousins, Alexandra Combs, Alexis Combs, Alexander Combs, Richard McCalip III, Montell Harris, Montez Harris and Waynisha Vercman and a host of other family members and friends.
