Robert Al
Pritchard, Jr.
Sep 30, 1980 — Jun 27, 2023
Robert Al Pritchard was born on September 30, 1980 to Delois and Robert Pritchard, Sr. He was raised in University City, Missouri where he attended Pershing Elementary School, Ronald E. McNair Middle School, Brittany Woods Junior High, and U. City High School.
He was what we call a "quiet storm"... Soft spoken, but not to be taken lightly.
Music has been a reliable source of relief and comfort his whole life. He was born into a "musical family". We were true church babies, bound to sing or play something. Mom sang and conducted voices while Dad played the keys and directed the music department. AND there are too many aunts and uncles not to exclude grandparents that paved the way to mention each one here.
Robert learned his first song on keys at the young age of 7 years old. Watching his dad play at our first church home, Little Bethel C.O.G.I.C. He later, at the age of 10 years old, became a member of Faith Temple C.O.G.I.C. where his grandfather, Wilson Burks, was the Pastor. By the age of 13, he was serving there as the minister of music until he graduated from high school. He has served in the music ministry as "Musical Director" or "Minister of Music" in St. Louis, MO, Benton Harper, MI, Slidell, L.A., Bay St. Louis, MS, and he spent his final days serving at Progressive M.B., Pastor Ken Braxton and Mount Bethel M.B., Pastor JT Wilks.
Robert was a true believer in "being fruitful and multiplying!" Please know that it is not our intention to leave out any of his beautiful children. With that being said... He leaves to cherish his memory, Nicholas, Lilliana, Alana, Robert, Rhyli, JaMariontae, Jace, Jaxon, Autumn, Adam, Kiari, and Paisley; both parents, Delois Pritchard and Robert Pritchard; brother, Ronald Pritchard; sister, Raytina Robinson, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
