Raynard Orrin Barbee Sr. was born on February 23, 1963 in East St. Louis, Illinois to Charles A. Barbee and Eddie Mae Williams.

Raynard attended Venice High School. He worked as a laborer until his health declined. Raynard enjoyed singing, playing basketball, fishing, and dancing. He was truly the life of the party.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles A. Barbee and Eddie Mae Williams; two siblings, Terri L. Barbee, Noreen A. Barbee; his niece, Shanika Barbee; nephew, Myron Barbee Jr.

Raynard Orrin Barbee Sr. transitioned peacefully at Barnes Hospital on August 8, 2026. He is survived by his children, Maquita Toller, Raynard O. Barbee Jr., and Rayneice Barbee; three brothers, Charles, Myron, and Virgil Barbee; sisters, Eleanor Tyler and Marilyn Barbee; a host of extended family including nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; special friend, Valerie Balentine.
