Pinkie L.
Jackson
Mar 5, 1968 — Jun 15, 2026
Pinkie L. Jackson was born on March 5th, 1968 in East St. Louis, Illinois to Johnnie Jackson and Martha Jackson.
At an early age, Pinkie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. Her favorite gospel song was "Nobody Greater" by Vashawn Mitchell.
Pinkie was proudly educated in the East St. Louis School System and was proud member of the graduating Class of 1986 from Lincoln Senior High School. She continued her higher education at a local community college, where she pursued studies in various trades.
Pinkie was kind, sweet, and marched to the beat of her own drum. She was a good friend to many and brought positive energy wherever she went. She enjoyed music and loved capturing moments of her newest hairstyles to share on social media. Pinkie had a servant's heart and devoted her time to volunteering throughout the community, particularly in behavioral health.
Pinkie was preceded in death y her beloved parents, Martha and Johnnie Jackson, her sister, Alicia Jackson, and her brother, Wade Jackson.
Pinkie leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Antori (Dana) Baker and Antoine Baker; her sisters, Jocelyn Burell, Ora Jackson, and Annie Jackson; her brothers, Sylvin (JoAnn) Baker, Johnnie Jackson, and Kendrick Muhammad, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and grandchildren.
Her smile, laughter, and unwavering spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
