P earlie Williams was born on March 29, 1930 in Noxubee, Mississippi to the union of Girlee Berry and Birl Nicholson.  She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age.

In 1988, Pearlie married her soulmate for life in the person of Nathaniel Williams.  After moving to the East St. Louis area, Pearlie united with Greater New Hope Baptist Church where she and her husband, Nathaniel were long standing members.  During her working years, Pearlie found employment with Famous-Barr, now known as Macy's.

On January 23, 2019 , Pearlie Williams answered her Master's call in Caseyville, Illinois.  Her son, James Edward Bickers who preceded her in death was welcoming her home.  On this side, she leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Nathaniel Williams; her sister, Marie Maggitt;  numerous other relatives and friends.
