Patricia Morrow was born on November 16, 1947 in Hunstville, Alabama to parents Frank Burns and Cornell "Nell" Sanders. Patricia confessed her love and dedication to Christ from an early age until her death. Patricia graduated from East St. Louis Lincoln Senior High School in 1968. She continued her education and enrolled in Southern Illinois where she majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. In 1982, she recieved her certification in Basic Electronic/Digital Computers and Computer programming.
She united with a church at an early age. Later in her life she joined with Faith United under the leadership of Pastor Brown, Shiloh, IL. Patricia served as an usher and sang in the choir. She loved studying the Word of God, and was an active member of a local women's bible study fellowship, in St. Louis, MO called BSF. Patricia was united with Calvary Cafe, St. Louis, MO, under the leadership of Pastor LaJuana Morris until her death. She enjoyed cooking and was apart of the ministry that served food to the community.
She worked and retired from General Motors after 25 plus years of service. Patricia enjoyed working part-time at Kohl's department after until she expired.
Patricia Morrow transitioned peacefully in her home on October 3, 2021 surrounded by family. She is survived by three children ~ Timothy Hudson of Spring, TX, Mona Hudson-Green of St. Louis, MO, (Lynn Green), and Ruthie Hudson of Spring, TX; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; close aunt and cousin ~ Dorothy Lacy, Chicago, IL, Lisa McCaskill, Fairview Heights, IL; three god-daughters ~ Lavonda "Poobie" Holliday, Dallas, TX, Marie Sedgley, Baltimore, MD., and Letrice Bryant, Springfield, IL; god sisters ~ Felicia "Leddie" Farmer, Alberta "Peachie" Petis, Regina Watkins of Mississippi, and Cheryl Dozier of Texas; god brother ~ Frank Watkins of Mississippi; a close family friend, Diane Miller, and many friends.
