Dr. Patricia Ann McGee-Middleton, aka "Pat" was born August
27, 1949 in St. Louis Missouri to the union of Boyd Turner and
Quelee McGee; she was preceded in death by both parents.
Dr. Patricia Middleton accepted the Lord as her personal savior at
an early age and was baptized by Reverend Williams at Pilgrim
Baptist Church.
Dr. Patricia Middleton received her early education in the East St.
Louis public schools and advancing her education receiving her
Bachelors, Masters and PHD from Southern Illinois University of
Edwardsville. She retired from teaching in the St. Louis Special
School District. As teaching was her gift she went back to substitute
teaching in district 189.
Dr. Patricia Middleton married William Middleton aka "Billy" in
1969; he preceded her in death in 1999. To this union three children
were born, Marletta, Marquetta and Marquise.
Dr. Patricia Middleton was a very loving and caring women and
never confusing her words, she said exactly what she meant and
meant exactly what she said and as she would say I don't sugar coat
"anything" for a lack of better words lol. Dr. Patricia Middleton was
a very loving and caring women. She was the life of every gathering
as someone was surely going to get a piece of her mind and with an
infectious laugh coming afterwards.
Dr. Patricia Middleton fought a good fight and finished her course.
Now she shall rest from her labor. On Monday September 14, 2020
the Lord called her home with grace and mercy to be at enteral rest.
Trials dark on every hand and we cannot understand all the ways
that God will lead us to that blessed promise land; but He will guide
us with His eye and we will follow Him until we die. We will then
understand it better by and by.
Dr. Patricia Middleton leaves to cherish her memories three
Children Marletta (Jerel)Brown, Marquetta (Kim) Mcafee and
Marquise (Keith) Holman; ten grandchildren Shelia (Chris) GreenGipson, Kerryonna (Chris) Green-Stephens, Alonya Monigan, Alon
Monigan, Mariah Foster, Kimberly Mcafee, Diamond Foster,
Angelica Brown, Angelina Brown and Jerel Brown; seven great
grandchildren Juelz Foster, Pharrell Holeman, Celebrity Fair,
Cassius Gipson, Serinty Holeman, Magnus Stephens & Cyee
Gipson; ten siblings Naomi Kennel, Kenneth (Michelle) McGee,
Gwendolyn McGee; six siblings preceded her in death John McGee,
Laura Helm, Albert McGee, Verna McGill, Robert McGee & James
(Peggy) McGee; and a special friend Jennifer Hayes.
