Ollie Wright was born on June 28, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Margaret Wright and Ollie Wright Sr. Ollie confessed a hope in Christ at an early age with Southern Baptist Church. He graduated from Madison High School.

Ollie is preceded in death by his mother Margaret Wright; his father Ollie Wright Sr.; brother William Wright and sister Mabeline Johnson.

Ollie departed this life on January 23, 2021 . He leaves to cherish his loving memory his sister Alice Dumas; daughter Monica Newby; granddaughters Alberta Grinston and Alea Grinston; grandson Nathan Freemon, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
