Nortisha Roshay Ball was born on November 30, 1989 in Centreville, Illinois to the union of Willie Earl Ball and Candace Lanet Jackson. She was preceded in death by her sister, Latesha Windom and cousin, Charlie Brooks.

She was raised and grew up in the East St. Louis area, attending Alta Sita and Attucks in School District #189. She confessed a hope in Christ at a young age, joining Colas Temple Church of God in Christ.

Nortisha loved her family and spending time with them. She was a loving, caring, sweet, and outgoing young woman, mother, sister, daughter, cousin and aunt.

She departed this life on March 12, 2017 in East St. Louis, Illinois. She leaves to cherish her memory her father, Willie Earl Ball; her mother, Candace Jackson; daughter, Caynesha Ball; sisters, Tressa Ball, Shanise Jackson, Kayi Ball, Patrina Funches, Kiana Alston, La'Kesha Windom; brothers, Rakeem Ball and James Lampley; grandmother, Georgia Ball; numerous other relatives and friends.
