Nathaniel Williams was born March 11, 1934 in Starkville, Mississippi to the union of Ernest and Mozella Williams.  His parents, and  a son, Stanley Marlon Williams, preceded him in death.

Nathaniel moved to East St. Louis, Illinois in 1940.  He was educated in the public school system in East St. Louis.  He confessed his love for Jesus Christ at an early age.

He departed this life on Monday, December 9, 2019 in the Intensive Care Unit of Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, California.

Nathaniel was married to the late Janice Marvine Williams and to this union one son and two daughters, Terrance and Tina were born.  He later married Pearlie Williams, who preceded him in death and to this union, no children were born.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Jacqueline Johnson, Terrance Ruffin-Parks, Tina Williams and Mabel (Auguster) James;  fourteen grandchildren;  69 great-grandchildren;  five, great-great-grandchildren;  two sisters, Annie Louise Shannon and Ermentine (David) Long;  a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.
