Mr. Michael D. Wilson was born on August 23, 1954 in East St. Louis, IL to the union of Glendon and Esther Louise Wilson. He confessed a hope in Christ at El-Bethal Temple of St. Louis, MO in 1989 under the leadership of District Elder Elliot Coleman.

Michael attended school in East St. Louis, Illinois District #189. He worked as a carpenter for many years. On September 2, 2002, he united in holy matrimony to Mrs. Angela (Walton) Wilson in St. Louis, Missouri.

Michael is preceded in death by both parents, Mother Esther Louise Wilson and father, Glendon Wilson; siblings, Darrell, Lorenzo, Andre, Charles, Randy and Glenda.

Mr. Michael D. Wilson departed this life on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Mrs. Angela Walton-Wilson of St. Louis, MO; his children, Charlotte Hodges of Faifield, CA, Michael McGuire (Phaenika) of Fairview Heights, IL, Michelle Rhodes (Darren) of Swansea, IL, Deon Williams of East St. Louis, IL, ShaVon Wilson of Belleville, IL, Kratocia Mccombs of St. Paul, MN, Marrio Fulghum of St. Paul, MN, Michea Wilson-Jackson (Kenneth) of Cahokia Heights, IL, Michael D. Wilson Jr. of Granite City, IL and Kemonde Wilson of Cahokia Heights, IL; two step-children, Montrese Floyd of St. Louis, MO; sisters, Kathy Wilson-Williams of Detroit, MI, Karen P. Wilson of East St. Louis, IL, Cheryl Wilson of East St. Louis, IL, Charita Wilson of Granite City, IL, and Tanisha Wilson of East St. Louis, IL; one brother, Maurice Berry of Killeen, TX, 22 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
