Mary Jones Castillo was born on December 22, 1946 in Grenada, Mississippi to the union of George and Magnolia Jones.

Mary joined Brick Academy Church in Grenada, Mississippi. She later attended Changing Life Ministries in East St. Louis, Illinois.

Mary worked in the medical field for several years in retail sales.

Mary met and married Roberto Castillo.

Mary passed away on December 15, 2023. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Roberto Castillo; son, Roosevelt Long, Jr.; parents, George and Magnolia Jones; eight brothers, L.C. Jones, Columbus Jones, George Jones Jr., Lewis Jones, E.D. Jones, Sam Jones, J.T. Jones and James Jones; three sisters, Jennie Mae Caldwell, Opie Lee Jones and Maggie Lee Jones.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory her son, Ramires Castillo; two sisters, Ceola Brownlee and Dollie Mae Whitney, one niece sister and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
