Marlin J. Bingham was born February 10, 1974 in East St. Louis, IL to Selina Bingham (Pitmon) and Edgar White. He was the second oldest of five children. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Minnie Bingham, uncle, Arthur Bingham, brother, Jermaine J. Bingham, step-brother, Richard Williams, step-son, Quentin Berry III, and cousin, Keisha Bingham.
Marlin J. Bingham was raised in East St. Louis and Washington Park, IL where he received his formal education in the East St. Louis School District #189 public school system. Marlin married Lataunda Bingham on April 22, 2022 .
Marlin was a man whose love for life was reflected in his passions. A music lover through and through, Marlin helped form a music group, North Park Drive, and spent countless hours creating beats and making music that spoke to his soul. His voice, full of emotion, could be heard everywhere, as singing was one of his greatest joys. Marlin had a deep love for his family, friends, and the quiet moments he cherished by himself. He enjoyed working with his hands, whether at work or during his personal time. An avid fan of TV and sports, Marlin also loved escaping into the world of fictional movies, especially those featuring Superman, Batman, and King Kong. His creativity, warmth, sense of humor and presence will never be forgotten.
Marlin departed this life on September 30, 2024 , leaving a legacy of love, music, and cherished memories. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Marlin J. Bingham leaves to cherish his love and memory to his wife, Lataunda Bingham; his mother, Selina (Richard) Pitmon; father, Edgar (Darlene) White; sisters, Demetrices Bingham and Alicia Bingham; brother, Nathaniel Bingham; son, Xavier Bingham; step-children, Viontez Carroll, Shamika Carroll, Devion Austin, Debardis Austin, Christopher Williams, and Da'Ion Jackson and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
