Margaret (ReeRee) Stewart was born to the union of Curtis and Canary Stewart on January 18, 1959 in East Saint Louis, Illinois. Margaret was the eighth child born to that union. Both parents, daughter, Bridgette Stewart, two brothers, Al and Eric Stewart and one sister, Deborah Stewart preceded her in death.

At an early age, Margaret received Christ as her Lord and Savior. She enjoyed going to church two to three times a week, bringing treats, and what she had learned during Sunday School, home to the younger children. Margaret was educated in the East Saint Louis School System where she attended and graduated from East St. Louis Senior High School. Margaret was the proud member of two sons, Javar and Eric. Margaret touched the hearts of everyone she knew and came across. She loved her children, family and friends.

On Sunday, November 27, 2022 , Our Lord and Savior saw it was time for Margaret to come home. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons ~ Javar Stewart of Centralia, IL and Eric Stewart of Fairview Heights, IL; five brothers ~ Paul (Claira) Taylor of Elkhart, Indiana, Larry Stewart and Don Stewart of Fairview Heights, IL, Michael (Barbra) Stewart of O'Fallon, IL, Al (Latoya) Stewart, Sr.; three sisters ~ Bernadette Stewart of Swansea, IL, Melanie Parnell of East Saint Louis, IL, and Derica (Kenneth) Granger of Belleville, IL; one aunt ~ Juanita Stewart; special friends ~ Luke Morgan, Joyce Willis and Cynthia McDougle; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
