Marcus Cortes Williams, most known as "Beans" (Hoodrich), was born on October 5, 1975 to Cora Lee Davis and Norvelle Hopper in East St. Louis, IL.

He was preceded in death by his father Norvelle Hopper and his two sisters Shirley and Shelia Williams.

Marcus attended Slade Elementary, Rock Jr High, and East St. Louis Senior High School until the 11th grade.

Marcus confessed his life to Christ in 1990. He enjoyed being around his family and helping out with family events. He loved to barbecue at family gatherings. Marcus was always willing to help in any way he could. He was the most reliable nephew, brother, cousin, and friend you ever wanted to meet. He had a passion for construction and janitorial work. No job was big or too little for him. He was a hustler and was always willing to work. On weekends his hobby was washing cars and chatting with family reminiscing about the old days.

Marcus departed this life on May 31, 2021. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Cora Lee Davis; his sister Ruthie Williams; brothers Johnny Williams and Kevin Williams; his children Marcus Williams Jr, Marjay Williams, Lonell Williams; great nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
