Luella Spears Wilson, 89, of Caseyville, Illinois, died on March 27, 2019 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.  She was born on August 25, 1929 in Mound City, Illinois, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James and Willie Mae Spears.   She was united in wedlock to the late Mr. Ernest Wilson, Jr. on April 19, 1952. Mr. Wilson, was a World War II Veteran.

Luella moved to East St. Louis, IL as a young child and had confessed a hope in Christ at an early age.  She attended school, earned her Cosmetology License and worked as a Beautician.  She was enjoying her time as a resident of the Knollwood Retirement Community in Caseyville, Illinois, at the time of her death.

In addition to Luella's parents and husband, her sister, Margaret Spears, preceded her in death.   She is survived by three sisters, Eddie Mae Adams of Chicago, Illinois, Louise Spears of Ann Arbor, Michigan and Rhoda Henry of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, as well as, many nieces, nephews, cousins and host of close friends.
