Miss Lucy B. Gordon was born on February 3, 1959 to the late Edgar Gordon and Margaret Suggs. She was one of eight children born to this union. Both parents and one sister, Irene Gordon, two brothers, James Gordon and Joseph Gordon.

Lucy confessed her hope in Christ at a very early age and was a member of the Full Gospel Church where her father was the pastor.

Lucy was a hard worker. She worked for the Mary Margaret's Daycare & Learning Center where the children she cared for loved her.

Lucy departed this life on June 13, 2025 . She leaves to cherish her loving memory four brothers, Harvey (Hersey) Gordon, Lloyd Gordon, Anthony (Linda) Suggs, Elder A.E. Suggs, and a host of family and friends.
