Bertha Louise Prince entered this world on October 29, 1932 in Shuqulak, Mississippi. Louise was born to the union of Robert and Mattie Jones.
Aunt Louise, as she was affectionately called by her loved one, moved to East St. Louis at an early age.
She completed her education in East St. Louis Public Schools.
Aunt Louise met and married the love of her life Robert Prince on January 6, 1977. They were inseparable and loved a good game of Spades. They were also a huge fan of the ST. Louis Cardinals. Aunt Louise worked in the Factory and Hotel Industry before retiring in 1980. Aunt Louise loved her family, she was often quoted as saying "I Love You Baby."
Aunt Louise was a true trooper. She fought a good fight and ran her course. Aunt Louise took flight to glory on December 19, 2020 at Cedar Ridge Nursing Home. Aunt Louise is preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters, four brothers, two nephews, two nieces, a special nephew Sherman (Pete) Nicholson and a special friend, Katie Brooks.
Aunt Louise leaves to cherish her loving memory: three dedicated nieces who were also her caregivers ~ Georgia Nicholson, Maria (Kelvin) Sanders, and Tasha (Andre) Fulton; one special nephew ~ Eric Sanders; nieces ~ Marilyn Sutton, Bobbi Jean (Mike) Kelley, Eloise (Robert) Wilson, Cheryl McQueen, Theresa (James) Jones, Sheila Moore, Crystal Moore, Phyllis Moore, Yvonne Jackson, Sandra (Robert) Johnson, Diane Jackson Linda Jackson, and Annie Jackson; nephews ~ Marty Jones, Willie Jones, Ricky Jones, Brian Jackson, Lionel Jackson, Tyrone Jackson, and Michael Jackson; great-great nieces ~ Kenya Jackson, Ieshia (Vere) Coleman, Ormeka Elem, and LaKeisha Nicholson; great-great nephews ~ Jerome Williams, Sherman Nicholson Jr., Charles Franklin, a very special great-great-great niece ~ Andrionna Fulton; and a host of great nieces and nephews.
