Mr. Loren Taylor, Sr. was born on May 25, 1964 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital of Belleville, Illinois to Mr. Arthur Taylor, Sr. and Constance B. Harris Taylor.  His father preceded him in death.

He attended Dunbar Elementary School and graduated from East St. Louis Lincoln Senior High School.  Loren was a very good painter, roofer, lawn worker and he was also very passionate about football.

Loren has always been very eager to help whenever needed, and to do whatever was needed, by whomever.  He was married to Teresa Wright, who preceded him in death.  Together, they had two children; Loren D. Taylor, Jr. and Sarah Telissa Johnson.  The eldest child of Loren's is Dena.  He also had two stepsons, Gary and Terry Miller.

Loren attended St. Luke AME Church quite frequently and the Sonlight Community Fellowship Church.

November 20 was a very special date, for Loren's maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mamie Lampley Monigan went to meet her maker.  And on November 20, 2018, Loren joined his grandmother on the same day.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a very caring and loving mother, Mrs. Constance B. Harris Taylor; Daughter Dena Taylor ; Daughter Sarah Johnson of Madison, IL; Son Loren D. Taylor Jr; Grandson; Loren D. Taylor lll; Five Grand Daughters; Brother Jimi (ANJI) Davis of De Soto, Texas; Two step-sons, Terry and Gary Miller (ESTL, COLLINSVILLE); Five Grandchildren; Step sister Lois Pookans (San Antonio, Texas); Aunt Adelaide Taylor, (Madison, IL); Step brother, Arthur Taylor JR; Two brother-in-law, Paul Wright (St.Louis, MO); Baron Wright (ESTL, IL) and a host of other relatives and loved ones.
