Lloyd Wilson was born December 11, 1949 in St. Louis, MO to Lloyd Wilson and Jerlene Wilson.  Both of his parents preceded him in death.  He was raised and received his education in St. Louis.  He moved to East St. Louis, Il in 1984 .

As a young child, Lloyd confessed a hope in Christ and then after moving to East St. Louis, united with Galilee Central Baptist Church under Pastor Crockett.

During his working years, Lloyd stayed busy as a laborer for various companies.  When he wanted to relax, he loved to go fishing.

On Monday, July 1, 2019 in Belleville, Illinois, Lloyd heard His Master's voice and answered His call.  He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Michael Goin;  two sisters, Sandra Derr and Jacqueline Wilson;  one brother, Dale C. Wilson;  special friend, Dorothy Martin;  numerous other relatives, church family and friends.
