Keirson "Tookie" Da'Shon Coleman was born on March 24, 1997 at Touchette Hospital in Centreville, Illinois.  He was born to the parents of Kimberly D. Coleman and James Betts-Johnson, Jr.  Keirson was the third of three children; Damario Coleman, Myla Pope Ruschia Betts and Jeffery Betts.

Family members that preceded Keirson in death include the great "Ruschia" Nicole Betts and brother, Jeffery,  also his grandmothers, Jacqueline F. Rodgers and Annie Bledsoe.

"Tookie" departed this life on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 .  He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Kimberly D. Coleman;  father, James Betts-Johnson, Jr.;  play-daughter;  longtime friends, cousins, uncles, brothers and aunts.

Although he is not physically here, Keirson leaves to cherish a long legacy of music, rapping and singing.  The legacy of a composer, struggles of life's day to day,  adventures of a Native American in a new world era oppressed and exploding his lyrics once again about a hero traveling through to go home.
