Kevin DeMarlo Cannon, a.k.a. "Snoop," was born April 21, 1989 in Centreville, Illinois and was raised by his mother, Leslie M. Brown (Pedro Staten) and dad, Benjamin F. Garnett Jr.

Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rollie and Clarence Allen; his cousin, Kenneth D. Allen, and his godsister, Yoshmen Ash a.k.a. "Boopa."

Snoop graduated from Cahokia High School District #187 Public School System in 2007 where he was very active in basketball. Kevin had a deep love for cars with big wheels and extremely loud music. He also loved his Jordans and nice jewelry. He was always the light of the party and thought he was the DJ. He loved hanging out with his twin and a host of special cousins and friends most of all he loved his boys, nephews, and nieces.

On Monday, June 16, 2025, God called Kevin home, leaving many wonderful memories with a host of family and friends.

Snoop leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Leslie Brown and Benjamin Garnett Jr. and sons, Kevin D. Cannon Jr. and Khalil D. Cannon; nephew, Trevon J. Mann II; nieces, Taleigha White and A'Lonni M. Johnson; sisters, his twin Paris R. Garnett and Aliyah Burnett; aunt, Brenda Brown; uncles, Derek Allen, Keith Allen, and Anthony Brown; sister, Chandra Carter; brothers, Leroy, Keith, Twon, Rello, and Aveon; his crazy cousin, Kyale; cousin/brother, Antonio Johnson, and special friend/brother, Pierre Knowles, and also his girlfriend Destiny Ward.
