Kendrick confessed a hope in Christ at a young age. He grew up in East St. Louis, receiving his education from School District #189. He moved to Springfield, Missouri in his later years.
Kendrick departed this life on Saturday, August 27, 2016 in Springfield, Missouri. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Destiney Johnson; his mother/stepfather, Shirley (Gary) Johnson-Lytle; brother, Willie A. Jeffries, Jr., uncle, Tommie (Sabrina) Johnson; special cousin, Phillip T. Johnson; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends including Myesha Dean.
