Katrina Marie (Bae) Hawkins 46 , of East St. Louis, Illinois departed this life on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 in St. Louis, Missouri. Katrina was born in East St. Louis on August 5, 1972 to Ellen Marie Hawkins of East St. Louis, Illinois whom preceded her in death and to Darnell (Trudie) Lindsey of Belleville, Illinois.
Katrina grew up in East St. Louis where she received her education through School District #189. Katrina worked for Capri Sun in Granite City, Illinois and the Rag Factory in St. Louis, Missouri. Katrina later on confessed her hope in Christ at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church of East St. Louis, Illinois. Katrina loved her family to the end of her life. Katrina's favorite hobbies were playing cards, listening to music and painting and she partied to the fullest in her life until the Lord called her home.
Katrina leaves to cherish her memories three children, Keanna (Jarius) Walton of Belleville, Illinois, two sons, Jarvis (Sarandon) Jackson and Lashawn Williams of Belleville, Illinois; three sisters, Tasha (Clarence) Johnson, Brenda Milton, both of East St. Louis, IL and Jaisnu Lindsey of Atlanta, GA; four brothers, Emmette Lindsey and Darrion Hamilton both of East St. Louis, IL, Korey Lindsey of Brooklyn, IL and Darnell Manning of Cahokia, IL; five aunts, Gloria (Fredrick) McWherter of East St. Louis, IL, Gladys Biggs of Washington Park, IL, Diane Hawkins, Elouise Moore, Jennifer Hawkins Muhammed and Vivian Anderson all of East St. Louis, IL; one uncle, Maurice (Darnita) Hawkins of East St. Louis, IL; four grandchildren, Kemarion Walton, Jeriyah Jackson, Tramell Jackson and Malia Jackson; paternal grandmother, Barbara Forbes of East St. Louis, IL; other relatives and family friends; two special friends, Gary Rainey and Jerlonia (Goopie) Walker, who will miss her dearly
