Beautiful baby girl, Juanita Holt was born to the union of Ollie W. Holt Sr. and Myrtle Sampson-Holt in Clow, Arkansas. Clow was a close-knit self-sufficient black community; located in the north-west section of Hempstead County Arkansas. The rural community allowed the Holt and Sampson families to earn their livelihood as farmers and enterprising business owners. After the birth of their first child Juanita, along came Dorsia Mae, Ollie W. Jr., Carnell (Connie) and Alvin W.
Juanita's elementary education was a little school house in Clow where all ages were taught. One of her teachers was her Aunt Rheema Holt. The family attended the local Methodist Church. Juanita's early years were in the close-knit supportive community.

Her father Ollie Sr. purchased a small building and started a grocery store. During her teen years Juanita worked in her father's store. As she settled in the East St. Louis Community, Juanita met and married James Falls and to that union seven children were born. Later in life she met and married Willie B. Fisher and to that union one child was born.
Juanita was a devoted loving mother to her children. She was determined that all of her children receive a quality education. She also insisted that her children attend church on a regular basis. Juanita nd her family were regular attendee worshipping at Bethel Chapel Methodist Church which later merged with Wesley Methodist Church now Trinity United Methodist Church.
Juanita enjoyed worshipping and participating in many church related functions and activities. She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Women serving in many capacities, such as Chairperson of Sub-Group Martha. Burke Post 3480 where she held the position of Chaplin and Parliamentarian as well as other various positions. She also was engaged in the South End Community Improvement Organization serving in various capacities.
