Joshua Raheem Tolson was born on January 4, 1999 at Touchette Regional Hospital in Centreville, IL. to Vincent Ross and Sherry A. Tolson. He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age.

Joshua graduated from East St. Louis Sr. High School. He served in the Marines then later attended Kentucky State University. He was engaged to be married to Epiphany Smith.

Joshua departed this life on April 25, 2021 . He leaves to cherish his loving memory his parents, Sherry A. Tolson and Vincent Ross; siblings, Mark Tolson-Smith, Aaron Tolson-Smith, Caleb (Jaleisa) Smith, Chanan'te Ross, Damian Ross, Dominique Ross, Taneile Ross, Erica Ross, Vanesha Ross, Jahriel Ross, Aleighyah Ross, Kierra Ross, Jasmine Ross, and Julius Ross; his grandparents Ocie and Anna Tolson and Barbara Ross;  a host of siblings united by love, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.
