Mr. John Tyrone "Tank" Wisham was born March 10, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Celia (Robertson) Wisham.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Albert Robertson and sisters, Isabell (Robertson) Evans and Joan Wisham.

John was educated in the East St. Louis School District 189.  He attended Dunbar Elementary School, Hughes Quinn, Jr High and Lincoln Senior High School (Class of 1975).  John played football and was a wrestler in high school and received several certificates.  John attended multiple trade schools.  He was well known by his family and friends as "Tank".

John was employed with Missouri Union Pacific Railroad where he was a welder.  When John was not working he loved to wash and keep his car clean while listening to the sounds of Parliament Funkadelic; if he was not attending one of their many concerts at the Checker Dome in St. Louis, Missouri.

On September 15, 1990 he was united in holy matrimony to Ms. Darlene Richardson.  To their union, twin boys were born, Darmohn and Keimohn Wisham.

Some of John's hobbies were bowling, going to the race track in Fairmount and spending quality time with his family especially on holidays.  On December 5, 2019 God decided to take John out of his misery and called him to his eternal home.

There are many who will cherish his memory; wife, Darlene (Richardson) Wisham of Cahokia, IL; children, Darmohn and Keimohn Wisham of Cahokia, IL; one granddaughter, Legacy Mariah Wisham of Cahokia, IL;  brother, Melvin (Pam) Wisham, Sr.; two sisters, Charlene Wade of Washington Park, IL and Bernice (Udell) Green of Cahokia, IL; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
