John Edward Agnew Jr. (John Jr.) was born on May 24, 1964, to the union of John Edward Agnew Sr. and Thelma Agnew.

John Jr. transitioned to glory on April 25, 2022, at 6:15 a.m. at The Estates of St. Louis. His spirit joined his devoted father John Edward Agnew Sr., loving mother Thelma Agnew, three brothers, Gerald McCallum, Anthony Fox, and Xavier Agnew.

John Jr. Lived his early years in East St. Louis, IL and received his formal education from the East St. Louis School District #189. After graduating in 1982 from East St. Louis Sr. High School, John Jr. enlisted into the United States Army where he served three honorable years. After returning home, John Jr. became ill.

John Jr. was a kind and caring person. He was always concerned about others, and very dedicated to his family and church. At the age of ten, John Jr. was baptized at Southern Mission Missionary Baptist Church. He was an Usher and a choir member.

John Jr. leaves to cherish his memories, two sisters, Shirley Zachary and Linda J. Stuckey, a host of  nieces, nephews, cousins, and a special friend/companion Mari Hauser.
