JoAnn "Dee Dee" Williams was born on January 1, 1956 in East St. Louis, Illinois to the late Alice Burnett and Ecclesiastes Hill.

Dee Dee received her formal education in the East St. Louis School District #189.

Dee Dee was a woman with many skills. She was very good with her hands. She was a unionized welder; she enjoyed making clothes and was very creative.

She is preceded in death by her only child, Alhondro Hill; her brothers, Andre Burnett and Garland Hill; sister, Diane Burnett.

Dee Dee departed this life on Wednesday, December 9th, 2025 at Barnes Jewish Hospital. She leaves to cherish her memories to her only granddaughter, DaShon Hill; brothers, Alan Burnett, Lindsay Burnett, and Leonard Burnett; sisters, Joyce Burnett, Faye Burnett, Betty Owens, and a host of cousins, family, and friends.

Dee Dee will be remembered for her words of wisdom, courage, stylish fashion, and loving personality.
